the planet spins research centre (tpsrc) is a forum for exploring the role of arts and cultural practice in our world. researchers in our team are developing an understanding of the nature and the dynamics of emerging artists and arts workers in a range of sectors and locations. some of the specific tools we are developing are:

~ a matrix that describes emerging professional artists development

~ a comparative creative entrepreneurship survey – the aim of which is to develop a theory of emerging musicians

~ an indigenous tourism development project

the tpsrc meets regularly – usually on the second thursday of every month in person.
